Version 8ef940f9

Current deployment
  • Line detection for multi-part guitar recordings

A new optional setting notices when a recording has more than one guitar part playing at once and gives you a separate, downloadable tab for each — without changing your existing results.

  • More reliable tab playback on slower connections

Fixed an issue where the Tab Reader's audio could fail to load, especially on mobile or slower connections.

Version 2026-09-04

4 September 2026
  • Clearer upload and account feedback

Upload, signup, and account-recovery messages now give actionable guidance.

  • Accessible audio controls

Waveform and playback colors were adjusted for clearer contrast in light and dark themes.

  • Improved product accuracy

Public and upload copy now describe the current preview and export workflow accurately.

  • Reliable issue reporting

Submitting a bug report or contact message, including with file attachments, now works consistently.

  • Consistent navigation for every role

The moderator dashboard now shares the same navigation as every other workspace page.

  • Clearer job status notifications

Starting, cancelling, and retrying processing jobs now shows consistent status updates, and stuck or failed jobs can be retried directly from a file's Jobs tab.

  • Sessions no longer expire during active use

Fixed an issue that could log you out during an active session instead of only after real inactivity.

  • Fixed browser tab icon

The FretPulse logo now displays correctly in the browser tab.

  • Deployment announcements and release history

A banner now announces new deployments and links to this release-notes page.

  • Refreshed legal and licensing pages

Legal documents now cross-link related policies, and the Libraries page shows accurate, current license information.

  • Consistent workspace layout

Fixed a subtle layout misalignment across workspace pages.

  • More accurate tablature

Riffs now stay in one hand position instead of jumping across the neck between notes, and chords no longer place two notes on the same string. Separation also isolates the guitar on its own track, so transcription hears fewer of the other instruments.

  • Honest automatic-processing progress

The automatic pipeline now follows every stage through to tab generation, instead of announcing that processing was finished while several steps were still running.

  • Muted stems stay muted

Muting or soloing a track in the stem mixer now survives seeking during playback.

Version 2026-07-10

10 July 2026
  • Visual tablature rendering

Generated tab artifacts gained engraved notation previews.

  • Alternate guitar tunings

Manual tab generation added standard, Drop D, DADGAD, Open G, and other tuning options.
