Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FretPulse Engine (the "Service"). The Service is operated by ResonantCore ("Company", "we", "us"). Contact: support@fretpulse-engine.com.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service lets you upload audio files for automated processing, including stem separation, transcription, and guitar tablature generation, and provides access to derived artifacts such as stems, waveforms, spectrograms, MIDI files, and guitar tablature exports (PDF, MusicXML, PNG, SVG, and JSON formats).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are in a jurisdiction that requires parental consent for users under a higher age, you must meet that requirement. The Service is not intended for children under 13.

3. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it updated.

4. Your Content and Permissions

You retain ownership of your audio files and other content you upload ("User Content"). You represent and warrant that you have all rights and permissions needed to upload and process User Content using the Service, including any permissions from rights holders and any required consents from individuals whose data or performance is captured.

You grant the Company a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, and create derivative works of User Content solely to operate, provide, and improve the Service, including generating and storing derived artifacts.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate the policy.

6. Copyright Complaints

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used improperly on the Service, see the takedown process.

7. Fees

Unless stated otherwise, the Service is provided free of charge. We may introduce paid features in the future and will notify you in advance.

8. Service Changes and Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and the Service may be unavailable for maintenance or other reasons.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or for security or legal reasons. Deletion of content follows the Data Retention policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Service uses automated processing and may produce incomplete or inaccurate results — see the Model Limitations and Accuracy Disclaimer for specifics. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from claims arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lyon, France.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
